As part of Indonesia Design Week 2026, MODULO Living hosted Design Social Club: Becoming a Designpreneur on 25 September 2026 at our showroom in Indonesia Design District – PIK 2. Hosted by Mario Wibowo, the session brought together Anita Boentarman, Robert Wanasida, and James Wijaya to share their journeys in design and creative entrepreneurship.

With a background in architecture, Anita Boentarman shared how her journey evolved into the world of interior design. Her story reflected how a strong design foundation, consistency, and personal perspective can shape a long-standing career in the creative industry. 

With an interior design background, Robert Wanasida shared how his creative journey grew beyond the design field into the food and beverage industry. Through his experience with Kopi Nako, he showed how design thinking can help shape not only a space, but also the identity, experience, and direction of a lifestyle business. 

From interior design to the furniture and home living industry, James Wijaya shared his journey in building Metaphor Interior Architecture and expanding into IKONS Furniture, MODULO Living, and ZBOM Indonesia. His story highlighted how a design practice can continue to grow into multiple brands that support different needs in the interior and furniture industry. 

Adding a thoughtful touch to the gathering, guests were treated to a selection of freshly baked pastries and sweet treats from Origins by Madmilk.
